Eternal Purse

A hand-assembled bag made of 3D-printed lace. TPU lace panels are joined together by jump rings and ribbon. The bag features an interior pocket also made of TPU lace and canvas straps glued on to make the bag wearable.

Created as a group project for UCSB's Media & Design Skills course, this purse was conceived as an intersection of fashion and technology using both analog and digital methods. My main role involved slicing and retrofitting panel designs to make them physically printable.

We Feel Pretty

A zine created as a final project for UCSB's Sociology of Popular Culture course explores how western colonialism has seeped into the beauty industry. Topics covered include whitewashing, appropriation, and the reduction of unfamiliar cultures to symbols and buzzwords. Research, layout, and design by me.
